Key Responsibilities:
β€’ Lead, supervise, and coordinate the nursing team to provide high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care in the freestanding ER.
β€’ Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, including state, federal, and accrediting agencies.
β€’ Oversee staffing, scheduling, and resource management to meet operational needs.
β€’ Provide direct leadership in patient care delivery, collaborating with physicians, support staff, and administration.
β€’ Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting professional development and team cohesion.
β€’ Manage quality improvement initiatives, patient satisfaction, and outcomes monitoring.
β€’ Ensure proper training and orientation of new staff members.
β€’ Participate in developing and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and protocols.
β€’ Maintain budgetary oversight, ensuring effective use of resources and cost control.
β€’ Handle conflict resolution, patient/family concerns, and operational challenges effectively.
β€’ Stay current with advancements in ER nursing practice and healthcare technologies.

Qualifications:
β€’ Registered Nurse (RN) with active state licensure.
β€’ BSN required; MSN or advanced degree preferred.
β€’ Minimum of 5 years of clinical experience in emergency nursing, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role.
β€’ Strong knowledge of emergency care protocols, best practices, and regulatory standards.
β€’ Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
β€’ Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and lead a high-performing team.
β€’ Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems.
β€’ BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (or ability to obtain).
