Greets and directs the clients and other visitors in a prompt and courteous manner. Utilizes skills to assure satisfied clients.
Notifies the providers of client’s arrival. Monitors waiting time to ensure the client is seen within 15 minutes of the scheduled appointment time.
Communicates a professional attitude with clients, visitors and other hospital personnel using language and materials based on the consideration of the client’s age, cognitive/physical abilities and/or developmental needs. Assures confidentiality of patient and other hospital information.
Effectively triage telephone calls and prioritize the needs of the caller.
Qualifications:ExperiencePrevious experience in a medical setting preferred.EducationHigh school graduate or equivalent with specialized training in typing, transcription, medical terminology and record keeping is preferred. Equivalent education/experience will be considered.
