In this role, you will provide exceptional service to clients regarding employer-sponsored retirement plans, utilizing a consultative approach to deliver education and solutions. Responsibilities Deliver exceptional service to clients through inbound phone calls focused on providing education, solutions, and long-term investing options regarding employer-sponsored retirement plans Take a consultative approach with retirement and 401k plan participants, utilizing multiple computer applications and internal resources to offer world-class solutions Attend a structured training program, participate in on-the-job learning, and receive individual coaching and support with a focus on growing expertise on retirement products and services Skills Ability to work full time on-site during Schwab's training program, followed by a hybrid work schedule Ability to work various shifts to serve our clients, with availability Monday-Friday any time between 7:00am to 9:00pm Central Time Previous customer service and/or client relationship experience Ability to multi-task, with demonstrated success navigating multiple computer applications simultaneously Active listening skills along with the ability to engage in open-ended dialogue to gain a thorough understanding of the client's financial needs Focused analytical skills and attention to detail to adhere to policies, procedures, and guidelines Robust communication, influencing and client engagement skills Ability to adapt and implement changes as market and business conditions evolve Dedication to resolving a variety of complex client inquiries both through technology-based research and working closely with partners Receptive to mentoring and feedback for continuous improvement Desire to gain financial licenses such as FINRA Series 7 or 63 Benefits Eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities Company Overview We have plans for every turn you take.
