The Client Service Associate position involves overseeing eligibility audits and providing research assistance while supporting Health Benefits Account Managers and Open Enrollment Presentations.ResponsibilitiesProvides administrative and secretarial support to mid-level professionalsConducts Open Enrollment Presentations at client sitesAssists in budget preparation and control activitiesMay assist in the preparation of records, statistics, and reports regarding operations, personnel changes, and more!Coordinates programs, projects, and/or processes surrounding the operating unit servedMay serve as administrative liaison within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operationsProvides administrative support to business operations by performing processing tasks including data entry or similar activitiesMay perform processing tasks in one or more of the following areas including policy checking, check processing, policy cancellations, etcPreparing source data by compiling and organizing; outline reporting on processing activities; Coding documents; Audit processing; Maintaining niche and comprehensive records and filingWorking in multiple software platformsHandling various types of incoming mailAdheres to productivity and process standards, such as data and document requirements, timelines, tool and resource usage, etcWork with the Health Benefits team on all eligibility verification processes including external correspondence to participants, appointment scheduling, completing document verification, and providing client/customer serviceTravel to work sites of auditable entities to perform Open Enrollment PresentationsSkillsHigh school diploma and 1 years related experience requiredWorking knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft OfficeNeed to possess strong verbal and written communication skillsHigh level communication skills, both verbal and writtenStrong interpersonal skills and a highly resourceful team playerAbility to maintain discretion and confidentialityAble to work well under pressure, with patience and resiliency1 + Yrs of experience within Health BenefitsAbility to commute on site to San Diego, CA in Hybrid setting, with increased in office days due to evolving business needsAbility to travel to client sites locally to conduct Open Enrollment PresentationsBachelor's degree preferredBenefitsMedical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one!Life and accident insurance401(K) and Roth optionsTax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA)Educational expense reimbursementPaid parental leaveDigital mental health services (Talkspace)Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function)Training programsGallagher Thrive program – elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeingCharitable matching gift programAnd more...Company OverviewGallagher is an international insurance brokerage and risk management services firm.
