Open Door Group (ODG) is a mission-driven non-profit organization serving communities across Canada, and they are looking for a Client Service Administrator to join their team. This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service, guiding clients to appropriate services, and performing administrative tasks to support overall operations. Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for customers contacting Open Door Group centers Deliver an exceptional customer experience to a diverse clientele by providing a warm welcome, guiding clients to appropriate services, responding to inquiries, supporting service applications, and orienting clients to the centre’s resources Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, maintaining resource centre information, scheduling appointments, and answering and directing incoming calls Work collaboratively with both centralized and on-site teams and may provide additional on-site support within the successful candidate’s local community Skills Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing Ability to foster positive relationships with individuals from diverse backgrounds, resolve conflicts diplomatically, and maintain composure under pressure Ability to work independently and in cooperation with others Ability to meet deadlines, manage varied tasks, and work under pressure while maintaining quality, client-centered service Proficient in using standard computer hardware and software applications, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PPT), Adobe Acrobat Pro, internet navigation, email communication, and formatting documents Grade 12 Office Administration Certificate Non-Violent Crisis Intervention Training (can be acquired after hire) Recent, related experience of one year Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience Or other qualifications determined to be reasonable and relevant to the level of work Must pass a criminal background check Benefits RRSP matching opportunity Professional development fund Company Overview Open Door Group serves thousands of people per year in several communities throughout BC.
