Client Relationship Manager

Taconic Biosciences A/S is looking for a commercially driven Client Relationship Manager to manage and grow complex client accounts in the Nordic region and UK while achieving revenue targets.In this role, you will build strong relationships with a diverse group of stakeholders, identify opportunities within existing accounts, and drive solution selling of Taconic’s portfolio, aligning our models and services with customer research needs. You will play a key role in developing and executing strategic account plans and ensuring long-term customer success.You will also contribute to the continued development of Taconic’s CRO-related business, building insights into the CRO landscape and strengthening relationships with relevant partners.Success in this position requires a strong commercial mindset, the ability to navigate complex customer environments, and close collaboration with internal teams to deliver high-value solutions.This is a remote position, and you will report to the Associate Director Sales in the United States, working closely with both local and international colleagues.Key ResponsibilitiesAchieve revenue targets and quotas aligned with the Annual Operating PlanManage and grow complex accounts, increasing share of walletIdentify, develop, and close opportunities within existing client portfoliosDevelop a strong understanding of the CRO business, including strategies, markets, and competitive landscapeBuild relationships at senior levels across CRO partnersCraft customer-focused strategies that create value for CRO partners and their customersDrive solution selling of Taconic’s models and servicesAlign Taconic’s offerings with customer research needs and objectivesBuild and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including scientific partnersMaintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management in CRM systemsAnalyze customer needs, market dynamics, and competitive landscapeCollaborate cross-functionally to deliver tailored solutionsWe expect you to bringA bachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceExperience in account management or sales within CRO, life sciences, or preclinical researchProven ability to identify opportunities and drive solution-based sales processesUnderstanding of how Taconic’s models and services support customer researchExperience managing complex stakeholder landscapesStrong business acumen and a consultative sales approachExperience with CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce)Excellent communication and relationship-building skillsFluency in English and at least one Nordic languageWhy Join Us?With more than 65 years of scientific excellence, Taconic Biosciences is a trusted global partner to the life sciences industry.
