Client Relationship Associate
Sax Advisory Group, LLC is a forward-thinking multi-disciplinary accounting, tax, and advisory firm. They are seeking a full-time Client Relationship Associate to support the operations of Sax Wealth Advisors by providing exceptional client service and operational support, ensuring a seamless client experience from onboarding through ongoing advisory support. Responsibilities Participate in client meetings and help deliver personalized, holistic financial plans Prepare meeting materials and follow up on planning action items Assist with investment recommendations, including rebalancing and tax-loss harvesting Communicate with clients regarding service needs, plan updates, and market-related inquiries Maintain accurate client records and diligent CRM updates Support client onboarding: open accounts, process forms, track documentation Schedule and coordinate client meetings and follow-ups Process client transactions (deposits, withdrawals, transfers) with accuracy and compliance Handle RMD tracking, performance reporting, and quarterly review preparation Communicate with custodians (e.g., Schwab, Fidelity) to resolve client issues Collaborate across advisory, admin, and trading teams Develop an area of expertise (e.g., planning software, RMDs, process improvement) Support strategic firm initiatives and business development efforts Participate in regular team meetings and assist with ad-hoc projects Skills Bachelor's degree (preferably in finance, financial planning, or accounting) 1–3 years of experience in financial services or client services within wealth management Series 65 required (or willingness to obtain) CFP designation or exam ready (or willingness to obtain) Familiarity with financial planning and investment concepts Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with CRMs and portfolio management tools a plus Knowledge of major custodians (Schwab, Fidelity) and account processes Strong communication and interpersonal skills Attention to detail, excellent time management, and ability to prioritize competing tasks Open to feedback and committed to professional growth Attention to accuracy and detail Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others and communicate with various personality types and levels of expertise Ability to multi-task and quickly switch priorities when necessary to manage deadlines Must be organized and efficient in a demanding work environment High personal standards and sound judgement Ability to think critically and to process complex financial scenarios Open and receptive to feedback and coaching Knowledge of personal and small business taxes is a plus Benefits Top Tier Health, Dental, & Vision Plans Flexible Spending Account (FSA) and Health Savings Accounts (HSA) Medical and Dependent Care Life and Voluntary Life Insurance Short and Long -Term Disability Insurance 401k plan with matching contribution Defined Contribution Plan (profit sharing) Customized Work Arrangements Floating Holidays and Volunteer PTO Unlimited PTO for Managers and Above Referral Bonus Program Tuition Reimbursement for Advanced Degree Healthy Living Reimbursement Program Health & Wellness App Subscription CPA & EA reimbursement for study materials and exam AICPA and CPA State Society membership reimbursement for Managers and above OnDemand access to industry leading CPE courses Summer Fridays at 1pm Company Overview SAX is a multi-disciplinary accounting, tax and advisory firm serving the needs of privately held companies, family-owned businesses, not-for-profit organizations and high-net-worth individuals.
