As a Client Relations Specialist, you will provide excellent customer service and support to a portfolio of small business clients. Your responsibilities will include:
Ā Handling all client communications with care. You'll answer questions on accounting, products, pricing, processes, and more. Your technical knowledge and problem-solving skills will prevent and resolve any client issues.
Ā Guiding clients through product and service changes smoothly. You'll follow up to ensure complete satisfaction.
Ā Preparing and explaining any additional billing charges clearly.
Ā Processing client terminations with empathy.
Ā Delivering high-quality bookkeeping and tax services tailored to each client's unique business model and industry. Your understanding of their needs will enable you to recommend the right products and processes.
Ā Advising on best practices for client relations and communication.
Ā Supporting the maintenance, onboarding, and tax teams as needed. This could involve answering phones or emails.
Ā Contributing to department and team projects.
Ā Performing other duties as required.
You Will Bring
Ā A bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance or equivalent experience
Ā Proficient QuickBooks Online knowledge or certification
Ā 3+ years of bookkeeping experience in a multi-client environment
Ā 3+ years of client service handling complex tasks for small business owners
Ā A deep understanding of small business accounting and tax services
Ā Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ā Strong skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, Outlook and Teams
Ā Ability in problem-solving, process improvement, critical thinking and prioritization
Ā A self-directed, independent work style that thrives in an autonomous environment
