What You’ll Do… This position requires a talented, experienced, and client-focused CPA. This role is an open invitation to becoming a Partner in the firm. We are looking for a certain type of CPA. You naturally take ownership, you communicate clearly and directly, and you find real satisfaction in helping a client make a smarter decision because of your guidance. The key responsibilities for this role are as follows: Lead client relationships for a portfolio of business and individual clients. Deliver strategic accounting, tax, and financial guidance aligned with client goals. Review complex business and individual tax returns, financial statements, and key deliverables for technical accuracy and quality. Lead engagements from planning through execution and delivery. Develop and implement tax planning strategies for complex client situations. Mentor and develop staff and senior accountants. Identify opportunities to expand services and deepen client relationships. Support firm growth through recruiting, client development, and operational improvement. Maintain confidentiality and professional standards. Qualifications: Required Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Active CPA license. 6‑10+ years of public accounting or relevant experience. Demonstrated experience reviewing returns and financial statements. Strong knowledge of GAAP and federal/state tax regulations. Ability to think critically on complex business & entity situations. Proficiency with accounting and tax software. Strong Excel and analytical skills. Review our remote requirements on our website. Preferred CFE, CVA, or other relevant credential(s). Experience managing client relationships independently. Prior leadership or team management experience. Comfort learning and utilizing innovative technology, such as AI. Pay Range & Benefits: Starting salary range is $100,000‑$115,000. Normal work weeks, outside of January through April15, are 40‑45 hours per week depending on workload and work demands. The position includes an additional 105 hours to be worked from January through April15 to support tax season. Benefits include paid time off, sick time, 401(k), Roth 401(k), health care insurance, flex plan for medical and childcare, short-term disability, long-term disability, and life insurance. Remote Requirements Must have internet access and internet speed of 100mbps. Must be based in and authorized to work in the United States. This job is not eligible for a US visa sponsorship. Our company maintains our team-focused mindset and strong communication by utilizing Zoom in a co-working capacity. All team members are expected to be connected to video and audio via Zoom whenever they are working.
