Client Data Specialist

Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience across payers, providers, and consumers. The Client Data Specialist plays a vital role in maintaining customer account accuracy and completeness, supporting Client Success Managers to ensure customer satisfaction and successful account readiness. Responsibilities Maintain up-to-date payer contracts and fee schedules for customer accounts Perform data discovery and entry tasks, including formatting spreadsheets and accurately modeling fee schedules Read, interpret, and understand payer contract terms Quickly complete task lists and provide timely updates on progress Deliver high-quality, detail-oriented work to ensure account readiness Communicate with clients about the details of their payer contracts Coordinate with internal teams for additional research, problem resolution & preventative measures Support escalated and complex issues further investigating solution and clearly communicating with stakeholders Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of client service strategies and high-quality client service experience Support other team members during peak times or when additional help is needed Skills Associates degree & 1 year or HS Diploma and 3 yrs Good understanding of physician and/or hospital reimbursement methodologies Experience modeling fee schedules or working with physician and/or hospital billing Requires proficiency using AI tools skillfully with an understanding of how to develop/create intelligent prompts and/or agents Excellent verbal and written communication skills Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail Proficiency in using CRM software and support tools Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively Empathy and patience when dealing with clients Ability to work independently as well as part of a team Benefits 401k plan with employer match Flexible paid time off Holidays Parental leaves Life and disability insurance Health benefits including medical, dental, vision, and prescription drug coverage Company Overview Zelis is modernizing the healthcare financial experience for all.
