Client Analyst - Retirement

Neuberger Berman is a leading asset management firm, and they are seeking a Client Analyst for their Retirement business. The primary responsibility of the role is to support the firm's Retirement business by building and maintaining client partnerships, assisting with client deliverables, and driving process improvements. Responsibilities Support Business Development professionals and Relationship Managers in all aspects of building and maintaining client partnerships with Retirement Clients including: All types of retirement focused advisors but also Recordkeeping Platforms, Trust Companies, TPAs, and other home offices Develop strong relationships with internal firm groups to articulate, process and resolve client requests and manage deadlines Ensure a superior client experience by coordinating deliverables with legal, compliance, operations, client service, reporting, marketing, RFP, and portfolio management teams Drive internal process improvement and data insights to help grow sales Play an integral role in creating client deliverables pre and post engagement, handling ad hoc requests and maintaining quality control oversight Assist with client database (Salesforce) management and identification of new prospects for both intermediary and institutional contacts Assist with initial outreach and research of institutional DC companies to support Business Development professionals Analyze competitive landscape and portfolio characteristics across strategies using various investment research tools (e.g. Morningstar), for product onboarding, research advocacy, and discretionary model placement Create customized presentations on the state of our business for senior management and key internal stakeholders Skills 1-3 years asset management sales or marketing experience preferred (intermediary or institutional) Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow up skills Ability to work independently and manage/prioritize multiple projects, coordinating with numerous internal groups Superior interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Familiarity with Salesforce or other CRM interfaces Familiarity with AI tools Team player, highly motivated, eager to learn and coachable Strong interest in investments, investment products, asset allocation and capital markets Enjoys a fast paced, high intensity environment SIE, Series 7, and 66 licenses required within 6 months of employment Benefits Paid time off Medical/dental/vision insurance Retirement Life insurance Other benefits Company Overview Neuberger Berman is an independent and employee-controlled asset management company, providing global investment solutions.
