Classroom Teachers – Part-Time Virtual Tutoring Position (Evening Hours)

We are seeking current classroom teachers (DO NOT Apply if you are not a classroom teacher looking for employment virtually during after school hours), who are passionate about supporting students in a virtual environment and are interested in part-time evening hours. If you're looking to extend your teaching expertise beyond the classroom and are available for virtual tutoring, we would love to have you join our team! LCB Tutoring incorporates a game-based Christian learning approach to make education both engaging and impactful. By blending fun, interactive games with biblical principles, we create an environment where students can grow academically while also building character and faith. This approach encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a love for learning, all within the context of Christian values. Students are motivated to learn through play, making their educational experience both meaningful and enjoyable. Additionally, we’re excited to be possibly launching a microschool this fall, offering a personalized, faith-centered learning environment where students can thrive academically and spiritually. Position Details: • Subjects: K-6 Virtual Math & K-9 Reading (Phonics, Comprehension) • Hours: Evening availability (part-time, flexible schedule) • Pay: $15-$20 per hour (based on 1:1 or small group sessions) • Summer Opportunities: WE ARE LOOKING FOR THOSE WHO HAVE SUMMER OPENINGS AS WELL, and looking long term to working when school starts back up. • POSITION BEGINS IMMEDIATELY, so if you are not available this month to start, please do not apply. Responsibilities: • Teach virtual classes for K-6 Math and K-9 Reading/Phonics . • Help students develop strong reading comprehension skills and math proficiency . • Provide personalized support in a virtual setting . • Create a positive and engaging learning environment for students . Qualifications: • Must be a current classroom teacher (K-9). • Must be comfortable teaching both math and reading/phonics . • Ability to help students improve reading, comprehension, and math skills . • Flexible, reliable, and available for evening tutoring hours . We are looking for teachers who are not overwhelmed by their primary classroom teaching responsibilities and can devote part-time evening hours to tutoring .
