Job Description:
As a Class B CDL Driver, you’ll be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of bulk freight to various locations. You will need to ensure that all deliveries are made in accordance with state and federal regulations. You should have excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and the ability to adhere to safety and company protocols.
Responsibilities:
– Ensuring timely delivery of goods to predetermined customers on specific routes
– Reviewing orders prior to delivery
– Loading and unloading trucks as needed
– Providing exceptional service to our customer base
– Complying with all transportation laws and maintaining a safe driving record
– Inspecting vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
– Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
Qualifications:
– Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL)
– Minimum 2 years of experience as a CDL driver
– A clean driving record
– Ability to pass a background check and drug test
– Physically capable of heavy lifting
– Knowledge of truck safety and road safety rules and regulations
