Claims Processor

The ideal candidate will possess a keen eye for detail and have a strong sense of customer service.The Claims Processor will work in the BlueCross BlueShield of South Carolina claims department and be responsible for claims processing and data entry. This position requires strong organizational skills and a thorough understanding of medical billing and coding.Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent Minimum of 1 year of experience in medical claims processing Working knowledge of medical terminology Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent customer service and communication skills Knowledge of medical billing and coding

Perform quality control checks on claims.
Provide customer service support to clients.
Keep accurate and organized records of all claims processed.
