Claims Manager
Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Manager with a minimum of 3 years of experience in casualty claim handling. The ideal candidate will possess specialized and technical competence in managing casualty claims, with a strong focus on General Liability and Auto claims, assessment/valuation, and litigation management.
Responsibilities:
Investigates various types of loss events and insurance claims.
Engages guests when needed for early intervention and resolution.
Reports claims to the insurance carrier.
On behalf of employer liaises with insurance carrier adjustors to monitor and manage claims until settled or closure.
Acts as a liaison between insurance carriers, attorneys and/or claimants and the company to solve problems and expedite claim resolution.
Produces reports, among other actions, to help assess and prevent losses.
Provides exceptional customer service in the management of GL, Property, Business Auto, etc. claims.
Comply with the company's drug-free and tobacco/nicotine-free policy.
All other duties as assigned.
Experience/Qualifications:
3+ years of casualty claim handling experience.
Expertise in General Liability and Auto claims.
Proficiency in claim assessment/valuation and litigation management.
Ability to lift- up to 25 lbs. consistently and 50 lbs. infrequently.
Must be able to legally work in the USA.
Education and Certification(s)/License(s):
High school diploma or equivalent (required).
Florida 2-20 or 6-20 License, or equivalent (preferred).
