As a Claims Business Process Consultant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our claims systems and processes, providing analysis, and recommendations to improve our business operations. Key Responsibilities: Claims Systems Analysis: Analyze and interpret claims data to identify trends, issues, and opportunities for improvement. Business Process Improvement: Develop and implement process improvements to enhance claims handling efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document business requirements for claims systems and processes. Solution Development: Identify and develop solutions to address business needs and improve claims handling processes. Testing and Quality Assurance: Participate in testing and quality assurance activities to ensure claims systems and processes meet business requirements and are functioning as expected. Training and Support: Provide training and support to claims staff on new processes, systems, and procedures. Performance Metrics and Reporting: Develop and track key performance metrics to measure claims handling efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction. Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including claims, underwriting, and IT, to ensure alignment and effective communication. Requirements: Essential Qualifications: Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. Experience: 4+ years of experience analyzing and solving customer problems in an office setting environment using the telephone and computer as primary instruments to perform job duties. Claims Experience: 2+ years of experience in claims. Management Experience: 1+ year of experience in management. Project Coordinator Experience: 1+ year of experience in project coordination. Computer Skills: Moderate proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications, including the ability to learn new and complex computer system applications. Multi-Tasking: Ability to multi-task, including understanding multiple products and multiple levels of benefits within each product. Communication: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Preferred Qualifications: Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Process Improvement: Experience with process improvement and lean principles. Project Management: Experience with project management and coordination. Technical Skills: Familiarity with claims systems and software. What We Offer: Compensation and Benefits: We offer a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including: Salary: $58,300 to $114,300 annually (California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Washington, Washington, D.C., Maryland residents only).
