Claims Associate II

Zurich North America is hiring a Claims Associate II to join their Workers’ Compensation Claims Team. This role involves managing a caseload of workers compensation claims and building partnerships with customers and brokers while emphasizing service excellence and work-life balance. The position offers flexibility through a hybrid work model, allowing employees to work in preferred locations while maintaining necessary in-office attendance when required. Responsibilities Manage workers compensation claims caseload that consists of low to moderate exposure Interpret, investigate and evaluate policies and coverage issues Learn claims handling and best practices Build partnerships with customers and brokers May be aligned to specific accounts Skills Bachelor's Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area High School Diploma or Equivalent and 2 or more years of experience in the Customer Service area Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice including an Associate Degree and no prior experience required in the Claims area Must obtain and maintain required adjuster license(s) Experience with Microsoft Office Insurance industry, medical terminology, or medical billing knowledge Analytical and organizational skills Ability to multi-task Strong communication skills Adapt to a changing environment Benefits Short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 5% Competitive pay and comprehensive benefits for employees and their families Company Overview Zurich American Insurance is an international commercial property-casualty insurance provider.
