Claims Adjuster Trainee
About the position
As a Claims Adjuster Trainee, you will learn to assist customers in navigating the claims process after accidents. This role focuses on building relationships with customers over the phone rather than in the field. You will manage a full caseload of claims, receiving support from a collaborative team and ongoing coaching from leaders. The position includes in-depth training on property damage and insurance contracts, enabling you to adjust claims confidently and independently. This is a hybrid role, allowing for a mix of in-office and remote work.
Responsibilities
Determine coverage for claims

Assess liability to identify fault for damages

Interview customers, claimants, and witnesses

Collaborate with appraisers/estimators to manage vehicle repairs

Negotiate with customers and other insurance carriers to resolve claims
Requirements
Three years of relevant work experience

Bachelor's degree
,
Two years of relevant work experience and an associate degree
