Responsibilities
• Investigate the origin and cause of failures, damages, or defects in civil/structural fields within residential, commercial, and industrial sites.
• Analyze building‑system failures, determine causes, evaluate construction quality, or review design/maintenance procedures.
• Perform field investigations, lead multi‑party examinations, and document damaged property.
• Research failure modes and code requirements as needed, and prepare recommendations for repair and/or remediation.
• Prepare reports and letters outlining the origins and causes of damages for our clients.
• Manage/coordinate with multi‑disciplinary teams on large, complex assignments.

Qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering (or related discipline).
• PE preferred; EIT may be considered.
• 5–7 years of design experience in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
• Field experience is a benefit.
• 25–30%+ travel.
• Ability to work in inclement weather and various environmental conditions.
• Ability to work in high areas (roofs or scaffolding) requiring physical agility, balance, and resistance to acrophobia.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously while prioritizing along strict timelines.

At Envista Forensics, we recognize that potential team members bring a wealth of experience and talent beyond technical requirements. We strive to reflect the communities and clients we serve to drive innovation, excellence, and meaningful work. Bring your authentic self to Envista.

Please let us know if you require reasonable accommodations during the interview process.
