Civil Planner

RFNOW Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated Civil Planner to join their growing team, contributing to the planning and execution of innovative fiber network builds. The role involves developing and managing project plans, collaborating with various departments to ensure project timelines and design standards are met.ResponsibilitiesCreate cable design plans, site plans (civil), and construction drawings for new fiber builds and upgrades, including FTTH and MDU projectsDraft municipal consent civil drawings with applicable cross-sections, aerial/underground scenarios, and routing that considers permit approval successPrepare fiber cable design plans and site layouts for residential and commercial buildsConduct site meetings and collaborate with internal designers and surveyorsAttend project meetings to discuss scope, planning strategies, and timelinesDevelop detailed construction notes, materials lists, and labor task estimatesEnsure compliance with all applicable Health & Safety legislation and company policiesSkillsHigh school diploma; relevant certifications in technology, project management, or planning are an assetExperience in telecom or utility planning, construction, and administrationProficiency with Vetro, ArcGIS, AutoCAD, and related softwareAdvanced skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and OutlookStrong communication and interpersonal skills to engage internal and external project teamsAbility to multi-task, prioritize shifting deadlines, and maintain high attention to detailSelf-motivated, solution-oriented, and quality-focusedValid Class 5 Driver's License is requiredCompany OverviewRfnow is a internet company.
