Civil Engineering Designer

They are seeking a dynamic Civil Engineering Designer who will play a central role in shaping and delivering a wide range of land development projects. Responsibilities Apply civil engineering concepts to develop solutions to project challenges Preparation of construction plans, cost estimates, reports, and other project documents Coordination with review agencies, clients, and sub-consultants for permit application Preparation of grading plans, profiles, road design, and details using AutoCAD Civil 3D Research regulatory requirements and design standards Perform detailed and complex calculations for storm water facilities, utility systems, and roadway improvements Preparation of detailed technical reports and project presentation materials Assist project engineers in completing projects in a timely manner and within project budgets Attend project meetings Skills 1-5+ years of experience in site development design Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is preferred, or equivalent work experience Experience with or willingness to learn AutoCAD Civil 3D for site development Strong written and verbal communication skills Proficiency with MS Office A desire and/or ability to work in teams to accomplish shared goals Self-motivated with the ability and desire to deliver excellent client service Benefits Competitive wages and bonus programs, including professional licensure bonuses.
