Civil Engineer - Roads & Drainage |Wakefield | Flexible Working | Career Growth Are you a Civil Engineer with a passion for designing roads and drainage systems for development projects? We're looking for someone just like you to join our client's dynamic team in Wakefield. This is your chance to work on a variety of residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments across the UK - helping shape the infrastructure of tomorrow with sustainable, high-quality design solutions. What you'll be doing:·Designing highways, junctions, and drainage infrastructure using AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and MicroDrainage/InfoDrainage ·Preparing detailed drawings, specifications, and calculations for planning and technical approvals ·Working closely with architects, planners, and structural engineers to deliver fully integrated design solutions ·Supporting planning submissions and technical approvals (Sections 38, 278, and 104) ·Contributing to flood risk assessments (FRAs) and sustainable drainage (SuDS) strategies ·Liaising with local authorities, stakeholders, and clients ·Guiding and mentoring junior engineers within the team
