As our Civil Engineer Designer supporting our Tucson AZ Engineering team, you will work remotely from the Salt Lake City, UT office while contributing to the planning, analysis, and design of stormwater, flood control, and water/wastewater systems while growing your technical skills alongside experienced mentors. Your work will directly support projects that strengthen and sustain local communities.

What You'll Do

You'll work on water resources & flood control related projects and provide related support to multidisciplinary engineering projects through design, analysis, and technical documentation, working closely with project managers and design teams to deliver high-quality solutions.
• Hydrologic & Hydraulic Modeling: Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and related calculations
• Technical Reporting & Documentation: Support technical reports, memorandums, and project documentation
• Infrastructure Planning & Design Support: Assist with planning, analysis, and design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure
• Fieldwork & Project Coordination: Participate in field visits, data collection, and coordination with project teams

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university
• 0-4 years of civil engineering design experience
• Strong organizational, time management, and communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications:
• Engineer-In-Training (EIT) Certification or can be obtained within 1 year of hire
• Experience with hydrologic and hydraulic modeling software (HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, PC-Hydro Flo-2D)
• Experience using Civil 3D, OpenRoads, GIS software
• Active in or desire to participate in industry related organizations
