About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate TESOL teacher to join our team. As a Citywide Bilingual TESOL Teacher (Gr. K-12), you will be responsible for teaching district-approved curriculum, planning engaging lessons, and creating a supportive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and social growth. You will work with students from grades K-12, helping them develop their language skills and achieve their academic goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Teach district-approved curriculum to students from grades K-12
Plan and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students
Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment that promotes academic excellence and social growth
Evaluate student progress, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records
Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the community to support student learning and well-being
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
Valid Connecticut Teaching Certificate and TESOL certification
Bilingual Spanish preferred, but not required
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
