About the position

As a Citizens Teller, you will serve as the face of Citizens Bank, playing a crucial role in creating meaningful relationships with customers. This position is not just about transactions; it’s about understanding customer needs and providing personalized solutions that help them achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for greeting customers in the lobby, demonstrating the use of digital tools such as the mobile app and ATMs, and ensuring that each customer has a positive experience. Your role will involve cashing checks, processing withdrawals and deposits, and adhering to all financial policies and procedures, including proper cash handling and compliance with state and local laws. In addition to transactional duties, you will be expected to meet quarterly referral goals by identifying opportunities to connect customers with our Bankers for further assistance. Your knowledge of Citizens products and benefits will be essential in educating customers and addressing their questions or concerns. This position requires a customer-centric approach, where you will actively listen to customers, ask effective questions, and develop long-term relationships that enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty. The role also emphasizes community involvement, as you will have the opportunity to give back through paid volunteer time and matching donations to eligible organizations. Responsibilities
• Greet customers in the lobby and provide exceptional service.

Requirements
• High School degree or GED.

• Minimum of 1 year demonstrated customer experience, recommending and referring products and services.

• Strong listening and communication skills.

• Ability to effectively ask questions and identify customer needs.

• Problem-solving skills to provide solutions to customer issues.

• Customer-centric approach to deliver exceptional service.

• Comfortable using digital technology to support business goals.

• Ability to work branch hours, including weekends and evenings.

Nice-to-haves
• 6 months of experience processing transactions (cash and/or digital payments).
