The Citations Clerk plays a critical role in safeguarding revenue by ensuring accurate processing and billing of citations received for parking, toll, and photo enforcement violations. This role directly supports operational compliance and financial accuracy for lessee billing through administrative processing and proactive issue resolution with municipal agencies.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Receive and sort incoming citation mail for administrative processing
Prepare, scan, and digitally organize citation documents for billing action
Research and validate citation types including parking tickets, toll violations, and camera enforcement
Initiate outbound calls to municipalities to confirm citation status and address disputes
Maintain accurate logs and follow up on escalations that impact financial outcomesMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1+ year experience in administrative support or clerical processing
Strong phone etiquette and written communication skills
Proficient in multitasking across scanning, data entry, and customer interaction
Able to explain billing procedures clearly and professionallyCORE TOOLS & SYSTEMS
Microsoft Outlook and Excel
Document scanning software
Phone-based customer support tools
Web-based municipal databases
Internal citation management platformsPREFERRED SKILLS
Familiarity with citation processing or vehicle leasing operations
High attention to detail in high-volume environments
