Job description: Job DetailsJob Location: Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF) - BOULDER, COPosition Type: Full TimeSalary Range: UndisclosedJob Shift: DayDescription**THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD**PAY: $130,000 - $165,000JOB SUMMARY: The Chief Systems Engineer will be at the forefront of technology exploitation and development, shaping groundbreaking advancements in remote sensing capabilities. Will play a pivotal role in managing and innovating the infrastructure that directly supports the Strategic Missile Warning Ground Acquisition Delta’s Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) mission. Location: Boulder, CO.PRIMARY DUTIES:
Oversee and guide all systems engineering efforts supporting the OPIR TAP Lab and Boulder Ground Innovation Facility (BGIF).
Define, prioritize, and execute technical requirements, translating them into actionable and innovative solutions.
Conduct comprehensive systems engineering trade studies to evaluate and recommend strategic technology investments.
Coordinate and maintain an Integration Roadmap for tenants of BGIF, optimizing activities, investments, and technological upgrades to achieve maximum efficiency and manage lifecycle costs effectively.
Lead efforts in exploring emerging technology trends, recommending strategic courses of action to ensure technological leadership and operational excellence.
RELEVANT EXPERIENCE:
10+ years of relevant relevant industry experience, with at least 5 years dedicated to software development, testing, and integration within DoD or national security environments.
Proven leadership in technical project management, systems engineering, and stakeholder collaboration.
