Chief People Officer (CPO) AI SaaS Digital Consumer Products, Government, Education (Remote/Equity)

American AI has quietly built real traction across government, enterprise, education, and consumer AI. Now we’re looking for a Chief of People — not an HR lifer, not a recruiter — a connector of humans at scale. Someone who sees talent the way others see markets. Someone who can Taskium the outliers, the polymaths, the builders, the rare few who make impossible things happen — and bring them home to us. This is a long-term leadership and equity role (up to 25% equity across multiple divisions, each with its own revenue stream). You’ll help shape the culture and future of one of the fastest-moving AI companies in the world. What You’ll Do • Own the entire people ecosystem — recruiting, culture, and internal alignment across Gov, Edu, Enterprise, and Consumer AI • Use and refine our proprietary AI hiring tools to filter thousands of applications per month into the top 1% • Build deep relationships with extraordinary candidates worldwide — across tech, ops, and creative disciplines • Convince world-class talent that AAIA is the company to work for • Design scalable systems for hiring, onboarding, and team development • Represent AAIA’s values in every human interaction — clarity, velocity, and purpose Who You Are • A true people person — high EQ, extreme clarity, and natural persuasion • Proven experience hiring and managing elite talent (startup, tech, or high-growth environments preferred) • Deep understanding of what motivates high performers beyond money • Excellent communicator — written, verbal, and strategic • Excited by scale: thousands of applicants, dozens of verticals, global reach Compensation • Long-term equity position (up to 25% across multiple divisions) • Competitive cash compensation (based on scope and performance) • Performance-based bonuses tied to hiring velocity and team performance metrics Why American AI • Real traction across public and private sectors • A team of builders, not bureaucrats • Full autonomy, zero fluff, zero corporate drag • Fully remote, global culture built for speed and excellence This role is for someone who lives for people — who wants to talk, connect, and recruit greatness all day long.
