Chief Investment Officer

We are seeking a part-time Chief Investment Officer who will help with a capital raise of $2M to $5M from venture capital firms, family offices and high-net worth individuals. You must have a demonstrable background in raising funds to be considered. Full-time employment will be considered and is preferable based upon performance. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process. Our Team Our team is as diverse as the students we service. Initial Primary Core Functions: • Establish and nurture investor relationships • Assist in the development of marketing materials, placement materials and strategies • Successfully raise and close capital investments Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: • Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to communicate effectively in person and in writing with colleagues and external partners representing a wide range of disciplines and backgrounds • Strong teamwork and leadership capabilities • Excellent organization skills and an unwavering ability to meet deadlines • Strong quantitative and qualitative problem-solving skills • Well developed relationship management skills and ability to independently grow and manage a sophisticated and diverse pipeline of investors Candidates Must Demonstrate: • A demonstrable proven track record in raising funds • Existing investor network of ultra-high-net-worth and high-net-worth individuals, family offices and institutions are essential. • 2-10+ years of banking, institutional sales, investor relations/fundraising, fund placement advisory, asset/investment management experience. • Proactive sales/business development skills. • Results-driven, detail-oriented, and a self-starter with excellent collaboration skills. • Dynamic and entrepreneurial personality.
