We promise to do what’s right, always.Position Summary:As the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the organization’s overall financial strategy, ensuring that financial functions are aligned with the company’s strategic goals. The CFO will lead all aspects of financial management, including accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury. This role will ensure robust financial controls are in place, compliance with applicable laws and regulations, and that financial operations support the company’s mission and growth objectives. What you will do:Strategic Financial Leadership:Develop and implement the organization’s financial policies, providing strategic direction to ensure financial stability and growthCollaborate with the CEO, COO, and other leaders to shape corporate vision and strategy, driving initiatives that support overall corporate goalsLead financial planning and analysis, guiding investment strategies and evaluating financial performance against strategic objectivesFinancial Operations Management:Oversee all financial operations including accounting, budgeting, credit, insurance, tax, and treasury functionsEnsure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statementsImplement and monitor financial controls to safeguard assets, enhance accuracy, and ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulationsRisk Management and Compliance:Ensure that the organization complies with financial regulations and standards, mitigating risks related to financial operationsManage relationships with external auditors, tax advisors, investors, and other financial consultants, ensuring accurate and compliant financial reportingOversee insurance programs to protect the organization’s assets and manage risk effectivelyTeam Leadership and Development:Lead and develop a high-performing finance team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and accountabilityMentor and guide finance team members, promoting professional development and ensuring succession planningCorporate Strategy and Growth:Contribute to the development of corporate strategy and vision, driving financial initiatives that support organizational growth and sustainabilityLead efforts to evaluate and execute potential mergers, acquisitions, and other business development opportunitiesProvide financial insights to support strategic decision-making, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, revenue enhancement, and operational efficiencyWhat you need:Advanced degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field requiredCPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation is preferredA minimum of 15 years of progressive financial leadership experience, with at least 5 years in an executive role preferredProven experience in a senior leadership finance role within the healthcare industry, preferably within the pharmacy and/or PBM industryProven track record of successfully developing and implementing financial strategies that drive business growth and profitabilityStrong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate financial data into actionable insightsIn-depth knowledge of financial regulations, compliance, and risk managementExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across all levels of the organizationExperience in managing complex financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced growing organizationStrong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to influence at all levels of the organizationExperience leading othersExceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, internal, and externalWillingness to travel (20%-25%)What you get:To impact industry change in the pharmacy benefits management space, while delivering the highest quality patient outcomes.To work in a culture where people thrive because when OUR team thrives, OUR business thrives.Competitive compensation, including equity, with health, dental, vision and other benefits.Note: AffirmedRx is committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment.
