The CCO will be tasked with ensuring the organization's adherence to regulatory requirements and fostering a culture of compliance and ethics. This is a key position that requires a business-savvy, experienced, and solutions-oriented leader to drive the evolution of the compliance program. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years' experience in securities compliance, with a strong preference for those who have worked with SEC-registered investment advisors. Experience with the U.S. Investment Advisers Act of 1940 and a background in start-ups, particularly with an interest or working knowledge of crypto, blockchain, or fintech, is highly valued. The role of the CCO at the company is critical in the context of its unique business model, which combines venture capital, fund, and private wealth management within the digital asset ecosystem. The ideal candidate will be responsible for not only ensuring regulatory compliance but also for leading the charge in developing and maintaining a robust compliance program that can adapt to the evolving landscape of digital assets. A Bachelor's degree or higher is required, and the candidate should be prepared to work in a fully remote capacity, engaging with a team of experienced professionals dedicated to smart capital strategies and institutional expertise in the digital asset space.
