About The Role
What if your years of chemistry expertise could directly shape how AI reasons through some of the most complex scientific problems in the world? We're looking for Chemistry specialists — Masters and PhD-level — to help train cutting-edge AI models by crafting, solving, and evaluating advanced chemistry problems across organic, inorganic, physical, and computational domains.
This is a fully remote, flexible contract role built for serious scientists. No AI background needed — just deep domain knowledge and a commitment to scientific rigor.

• Type: Hourly Contract
• Location: Remote
• Commitment: 10–40 hours/week
What You'll Do
• Design and develop complex, real-world chemistry problems across organic, inorganic, physical, or computational chemistry
• Solve and critically review advanced chemistry problems to ensure scientific accuracy and depth
• Apply your domain expertise to challenge and improve the reasoning capabilities of AI models
• Collaborate asynchronously with AI researchers and fellow domain experts
• Ensure every deliverable meets the highest standards of scientific rigor, clarity, and relevance
Who You Are
• Holds a Master's or PhD in Chemistry or a closely related field
• Deep expertise in one or more chemistry subfields — organic, inorganic, physical, or computational
• Comfortable working with Python or computational chemistry tools such as Gaussian or VASP
• Exceptional written communicator with sharp attention to detail
• Self-motivated and reliable when working independently and asynchronously
• Fluent in English
Nice to Have
• Experience with data annotation, evaluation systems, or data quality workflows
• Familiarity with AI tools or scientific benchmarking
• Background spanning multiple chemistry subfields
• Experience writing or reviewing scientific content for technical audiences
