Chat Support Representative Duties and Responsibilities
Respond to customer inquiries via chat in a prompt, professional, and friendly manner.
Provide detailed and accurate information about our products or services to customers.
Assist customers with troubleshooting and resolving issues, escalating complex problems when necessary.
Maintain a positive and empathetic attitude toward customers at all times.
Keep detailed records of customer interactions, including inquiries, issues, and resolutions.
Meet or exceed performance targets such as response times, customer satisfaction scores, and chat volume.
Continuously update your knowledge of company products, services, and policies to provide the best support possible.
Work closely with team members and other departments to ensure consistent and effective customer service.
Chat Support Representative Requirements and Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; a college degree is advantageous.
Strong written communication skills with excellent grammar and spelling.
Previous experience in customer service or chat support is preferred but not mandatory.
Quick problem-solving skills and the ability to think on your feet.
Proficient with computers and familiar with chat and messaging platforms.
Ability to handle multiple conversations simultaneously and manage time effectively.
High level of empathy, patience, and dedication to providing outstanding customer service.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 17 per week
