Working directly into the VP of International Channels and SMB Sales, the successful individual will be directly responsible for leading and managing the partner teams across major regions within the International organization. The Senior director of International Partner Management will be responsible for setting the execution strategy within the region and ensuring that the regional Channel directors and their partner business managers execute against defined KPIs and are supported in their business and personal development plans. The successful candidate will also be the primary business partner to senior sales leaders, country managers and AVPs and will be responsible for the growth of our Strategic partners across the defined territory.Position Responsibilities
Overall ownership of the International Partner execution plan in key defined regions
Direct Leadership of a set of Regional Directors who will lead the regional partner teams to success
Strong influence on the GEO and Global strategy in relation to RTM strategy and how to execute defined plans inside the International geography
Matrix leadership of supporting business partners to ensure the channel runs effectively with focus on marketing, operations, presales, HR etc
Lead strong collaboration with all stakeholders primarily the regional sales leadership team – driving teaming and alignment to build growth engines with our RTM partners that support sales targets and delight customers with Commvault’s solutions and services
Exec level ownership and engagement across Commvault’s most strategic partners in the regions to build out robust plans that focus on accelerated growth and customer acquisition
Working with the Global RTM leaders to help build robust strategies for key RTMs that will help build sustainable business streams
Ensure through influence that profitability models delivered to our partners are in keeping with what is required to drive growth in the GEO
Position Tactics and Requirements
Develop strategies that will maximize incremental Partner brought pipeline to ensure regular and predictable inflow that not only achieves target, but which out-performs against declared financial goals to provide for sustainable growth.
Initiate measure and manage partner lifecycle management plans for our most strategic partners via the direct regional teams you lead,
Ensure that forecasting accuracy is strengthened through an aligned channel forecasting approach for our partner teams that supports the International sales process
Define with the overall Channel leadership team key KPIs that support the strategic goals of the Partner organization in line with the overall Corporate business goals
Requirements
First class communication skills written and oral, specifically English speaking, to ensure communication and uptake of the plan across multiple territories in EMEA
Critical to the role is a proven ability and experience to manage partners across multiple countries in a matrix environment
Degree level education with a significant sales experience working for a technology company
Has been a “key leader” in sales within multinational and multicultural environment; successfully designed and implemented Sales Strategy.
Consummate people leader with the ability to inspire motivate and lead staff.
Must have a strong proven track record in Sales management with experience of developing business potential within enterprise accounts and partners.
Demonstrable record of achievement for hitting revenue targets is essential. First-class negotiation skills with the ability to close deals in a timely manner.
A high-energy individual who thrives on success and who has the persistence to follow problems through to their final resolution. Understands all aspects relating to “ownership”
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, confident presenter.
Demonstrable business and commercial/legal awareness, intellectual vigour and creativity.
