Channel Marketing Director - Outdoor Recreation

Our client is a leading manufacturer of outdoor construction equipment that services the architectural, building and construction, private and public sectors. They are seeking to hire a Channel Marketing Director responsible for managing distributor marketing execution and developing strategies to drive demand and market share. In this role, you will ensure that all channel marketing activities are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals while effectively supporting distributor partnerships.

Responsibilities:
• Marketing liaison: ensure tools and assets are available and accessible for distributors and provide guidance for execution within markets
• Support market specific initiatives in alignment with organization-wide marketing campaigns
• Provide brand standards, campaign execution and marketing best practices training to distributors
• Drive unified marketing programs, templates and tool adoption among distributors
• Convert brand marketing strategies into programs, activation plans and playbooks
• Manage marketing asset creation, customization and distribution i.e. presentations, brochures, videos, sell sheets, etc.
• Support digital marketing execution across distributors: social media, web content, email campaigns, etc.
• Manage marketing support of tradeshows, events and sales meetings; provide distributors with all necessary promotional materials and assets
• Create visual tools, marketing materials, presentation and proposal templates to improve quality and consistency for distributors
• Assist with improving lead quality through better marketing alignment
• Define and track KPIs to improve channel marketing; identify area for improvement and develop solutions

Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or related
• Min. 10+ years of Marketing experience within Channel and/or B2B marketing
• Marketing experience within Outdoor Recreation, Construction, Building Material or related required
• Previous experience working with a B2B organization with third-party required
• Experience in marketing strategy and tactic development and implementation in distributors
• Ability to convert brand strategies into market-ready programs/tools
• Knowledge/Understanding of digital marketing, asset development and sales enablement
• Excellent Communication and Presentation skills
• Ability to travel approx. 30% (tradeshows/events and support distributors)
