Job Summary

We are seeking an accomplished Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with proven exit experience to lead the financial strategy and operations of a private equity-backed organization. This executive role requires a strategic thinker with deep expertise in corporate finance, financial reporting, and risk management, particularly within the context of mergers, acquisitions, and exit planning. The successful candidate will oversee all financial activities, ensure compliance with regulatory standards, and drive value creation through effective fiscal management and business development initiatives. Duties
• Lead the development and execution of comprehensive financial strategies aligned with the company's long-term objectives, including exit planning and valuation enhancement.
• Oversee all aspects of financial accounting, including corporate accounting, governmental accounting, and adherence to international standards such as IFRS and IAS.
• Manage complex mergers and acquisitions processes, including due diligence, valuation analysis, negotiation support, and integration planning.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory reporting requirements such as SOX (Sarbanes-Oxley Act), ASC 606 revenue recognition standards, COSO frameworks for internal controls, and other applicable regulations.
• Direct treasury functions encompassing cash flow management, risk analysis, market analysis, and cost control measures to optimize liquidity and financial stability.
• Supervise budgeting, forecasting, financial modeling, profit & loss analysis, expense management, and cost management to support strategic decision-making.
• Oversee internal controls related to financial software systems and ensure accurate financial report writing and interpretation for stakeholders.
• Lead risk management initiatives by analyzing financial risks associated with market fluctuations, regulatory changes, or operational factors.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to develop business development strategies that maximize revenue growth and profitability.
• Manage team supervision responsibilities across finance functions including payroll management, supply chain finance considerations, and technical accounting issues.
• Prepare detailed financial reports for board review; interpret complex data to inform strategic planning efforts.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process efficiencies within financial operations.

Experience
• Extensive senior leadership experience as a CFO or equivalent executive role within private equity-backed companies or organizations preparing for exit events.
• Demonstrated success in managing mergers & acquisitions from initial evaluation through integration.
• Proven expertise in revenue cycle management, profit & loss oversight, and comprehensive fiscal management.
• Strong background in corporate finance concepts such as risk analysis, market analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
• Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks including SOX compliance, IFRS/IAS standards, GAAP principles, ASC 606 revenue recognition rules, and COSO internal control frameworks.
• Experience supervising teams responsible for financial reporting systems utilizing advanced financial software solutions.
• Skilled in negotiation tactics related to business development opportunities or transaction negotiations.
• Knowledge of governmental accounting practices when applicable; familiarity with supply chain finance is advantageous.
• Excellent analysis skills combined with the ability to interpret complex financial data into actionable insights for executive decision-making.
• Pay: $300,000.00 - $400,000.00 per year
