Certified Salesforce Developer/Admin

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a Certified Salesforce Developer/Admin for a hybrid position in Brooklyn, NY supporting enterprise CRM initiatives. EST zone candidates with an active LinkedIn preferred. The selected consultant will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing customized Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, and Flows, with a primary focus on Service Cloud and Community Cloud. This role will support technical architecture, integrations, full SDLC activities, and ongoing platform enhancement to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing business solutions.

MANDATORY SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 7 years of Salesforce Administration and Development experience, with strong hands-on work in Service Cloud.
• Experience performing customizations and configurations on Salesforce CRM platforms.
• Strong experience designing, developing, and implementing custom Salesforce solutions using Apex, Apex Triggers, Apex Unit Tests, SOQL, SOSL, Lightning Experience, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, validation rules, Process Builder, workflow rules, and bulk data import tools.
• Experience troubleshooting and debugging existing Salesforce configurations and code to resolve defects and support enhancements.
• Experience working within Salesforce governor limits and documenting implemented solutions.
• Experience developing and enhancing integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs, including third-party services.
• Strong understanding of secure, scalable, and well-architected Salesforce solution design.
• Experience reviewing Salesforce release notes and evaluating platform impacts on enterprise solutions.
• Ability to translate business and functional requirements into technical solutions that align with organizational objectives.
• Strong communication, client relations, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to collaborate with business, functional, and technical teams to determine optimal implementation approaches.
• One or more of the following certifications are required: Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, or Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder.

SCOPE OF SERVICES
• Design, develop, and implement customized solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Visualforce, Flows, and other Salesforce technologies.
• Focus on Service Cloud and Community Cloud solutions to enhance enterprise customer experience and operational efficiency.
• Develop custom solutions through configuration and coding to meet user story and business requirements.
• Participate in technical architecture discussions, design reviews, and code reviews to ensure best practices and high-quality solutions.
• Collaborate with business and functional teams to determine the best technical implementation approach for requested enhancements and new capabilities.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance integrations between Salesforce and external systems using REST and SOAP APIs.
• Translate business and functional requirements into scalable, secure, and high-performing technical solutions.
• Manage the full software development lifecycle, including development, testing, deployment, documentation, and post-deployment support.
• Perform and document solutions within Salesforce governor limits.
• Help realize additional value from the Salesforce platform, including current and future capabilities across Service Cloud, Community Cloud, and related technologies.
• Provide troubleshooting, debugging, and issue resolution for existing configuration and custom code.
• Review Salesforce platform releases and assess potential impacts to the supported solution environment.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers and administrators as needed.
• Work closely with stakeholders to ensure technical solutions align with business goals and objectives.
• Ensure all delivered solutions are secure, optimized for performance, and built to scale.

DESIRABLE SKILLS / EXPERIENCE
• Experience with Community Cloud.
• Experience with Marketing Cloud and Social Studio.
• Experience integrating Salesforce with Box.com and/or FileNet.
• Experience with AppExchange integrations such as Vlocity, PSS, Glance, DocuSign, Sumo, and Adaptus.
• Experience with Java.
• Experience with SQL.
• Experience with Git.
• Experience with ImageTrust.
• Experience with JIRA.
• Experience with ServiceNow.
