Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

Responsibilities:
Handle taxes and accounting for the firm
Prepare federal, state, and local tax returns for the firm using tax software
Review previous tax returns and financial documents to identify missing or incomplete information or documentation
Conduct tax research and assist with audit preparation
Ability to understand and apply tax laws and changes in the preparation process
Maintain and update annually fixed asset list in tax software
Potential to work closely with financial advisors and clients on tax planning strategies
Assist with financial reporting and analysis
Requirements:
CPA certification
Degree in accounting or taxation preferred
5-8 years of experience in tax accounting
Experience within an investment management firm is ideal
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
