Job Objectives As a Certified Pharmacy Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you will play a vital role in delivering a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Your primary objectives will be to: Model and deliver exceptional customer service, ensuring that every interaction is courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient. Register sales on assigned cash registers, provide customers with accurate information, and resolve any issues or concerns in a timely and professional manner. Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, and process prescriptions in accordance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities In this role, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including: Customer Experience Engaging customers and patients by greeting them, offering assistance with products and services, and resolving any issues or concerns. Modeling and sharing customer service best practices with all team members to deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Operations Providing customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, including registering customer purchases, collecting cash, and distributing change as requested. Recommending items for sale, trade-up, and/or companion items, and taking customers to the OTC aisle when possible to assist in locating products. Keeping counters and shelves clean and well-merchandised, taking inventory, and maintaining records. Performing duties as assigned by the Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including utilizing pharmacy systems to enter patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, and assisting pharmacists in scheduling and maintaining workflow. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico). Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset: Six months of experience in a retail environment. Prior work experience with blithequark. Good math skills, including counting, measuring, and weighing medications. Good computer skills. Knowledge of store inventory control. PTCB certification. Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. You should be able to work effectively in a team environment, be adaptable to changing situations, and demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
