Now Hiring: Senior Outpatient Coder (IR & Cardiology) – Remote
Location: Remote (U.S. – except CA)
Shift: Day Shift | 5×8 (8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Contract: 13 Weeks | Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Bill Rate: $35/hr
Job Description:
• Review outpatient medical records and assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and modifiers
• Code Interventional Radiology (IR) and Cardiology procedures
• Ensure compliance with coding guidelines, payer rules, and regulatory standards
• Maintain coding accuracy (90%+) and productivity targets
• Communicate with billing and clinical teams regarding documentation issues
• Support coding audits, claim edits, and quality improvement initiatives
• Work with EHR and coding software such as EPIC or 3M
Requirements:
• 3+ years outpatient coding experience
• CIRCC certification highly preferred
• CCS / RHIT / RHIA / CPC / COC / CCA certification accepted
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and coding guidelines
