Job Summary:
Teach high school science classes, developing and implementing engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities
Evaluate student performance, providing constructive feedback and support to ensure academic success
Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum, sharing best practices and expertise to enhance student outcomes
Participate in staff development and professional growth activities, staying up-to-date with the latest teaching methods and technologies
Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment, promoting positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Valid teaching certification in General Science (034) for grades 7-12
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
Strong knowledge of educational philosophy, teaching methods, and best practices in science education
Ability to adapt teaching styles to meet the needs of diverse student populations
