DescriptionLocation: Fully Remote (Must be licensed in Texas)Schedule: Full-Time | 12-hour shifts (Monday, Tuesday, Friday | 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM)About the RoleWe are seeking a patient-centered Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) who is also a Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) to join our remote clinical team.While this role includes diabetes education, it is not limited to diabetes care. You will provide comprehensive nutrition and health counseling to a diverse patient population—including individuals managing chronic conditions such as diabetes, hypertension, and hyperlipidemia, as well as patients focused on weight loss, GLP-1 therapy, and overall health and wellness.This position is ideal for a clinician who enjoys practicing across the full spectrum of metabolic health, preventative care, and behavior change, and building meaningful patient relationships in a remote setting.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide diabetes self-management education and support (DSMES)Deliver medical nutrition therapy (MNT) for:Diabetes (Type 1, Type 2, prediabetes)HypertensionHyperlipidemiaWeight management and obesitySupport patients on GLP-1 medications, including:Nutrition guidanceSide effect managementSustainable lifestyle strategiesCounsel patients seeking general health and wellness guidance, including those without chronic conditionsDevelop personalized, evidence-based care plans aligned with patient goalsUse motivational interviewing and behavior change techniques to drive outcomesCollaborate with interdisciplinary care teams as neededDocument patient encounters accurately within telehealth systemsRequirementsQualificationsActive CDCES certification (required)Active Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential (strongly preferred)Current Texas licensure Minimum 1+ year of experience in diabetes education and/or clinical nutritionExperience with weight management and/or GLP-1 therapies strongly preferredStrong understanding of cardiometabolic health (diabetes, hypertension, lipids, obesity)Excellent communication and patient engagement skillsComfortable delivering care via telehealth platformsAbility to work independently in a fully remote environmentWhat We OfferConsistent 3-day workweek (Monday, Tuesday, Friday)Fully remote positionCompetitive compensation and benefitsOpportunity to work in a growing, forward-thinking metabolic health modelCollaborative and supportive team environment
