Certified Coder with active RN License
Certified Coder who is also a Registered Nurse with “hands on” experience; strong med-surg background with the adult population and or experience with Utilization Review and/or Case Management is preferred. We are currently looking for immediate help with prospective, retrospective, and utilization review projects.
• Position is PRN contract work
• Hours are flexible, day, night and or weekends
• Position is remote, work from your home
• This is a production-driven environment. Accuracy and consistent production are required
Candidate must have the following requirements:
• Certified Coder
• Registered Nurse with active RN License
• High-speed Internet access
• Current reference materials
• Computer, with antivirus software, Word, Excel, and the ability to open PDFs (Adobe Reader)
• Strong computer experience
• Strong ability to work independently
• Must use appropriate grammar and have the ability to articulate chart assessment or utilization review in writing
• Experience with Risk Adjustment is preferred
• ICD-10 knowledge is a plus
