About the position

ANB Bank is seeking a Central Operations Representative to join our team in Colorado Springs, CO. This full-time position is designed for individuals who excel in customer service and are committed to building meaningful relationships with our customers and within our communities. The successful candidate will provide support to all bank operations personnel and customers as it relates to operational functions, ensuring the integrity of the bank regarding system input and proper procedures in the adequacy of deposit documentation. This role is crucial in lending support to bank personnel concerning deposit functions and maintaining compliance with regulatory and statutory requirements. The Central Operations Representative will assist in the creation of policies and procedures for all departmental tasks, identifying opportunities to modify processes to meet account processing goals. This includes becoming more efficient, decreasing errors, and minimizing risk exposure. The representative will be responsible for completing various daily, monthly, and annual departmental tasks with accuracy and minimal assistance, such as account setup error reviews, account maintenance reviews, new account reviews, youth account conversions, W8 annual mailings, and CIP violation closures. The role requires maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, viewing webinars, and analyzing published materials related to the department's tasks. In this position, the representative will work independently or as part of a team to complete departmental objectives, adapting to shifting priorities and responsibilities with ease. Strong communication skills, both written and orally, are essential for effectively interacting with internal and external customers, vendors, and management. The representative will process daily tasks with a high degree of accuracy and must possess a strong work ethic, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Additionally, maintaining confidentiality and supporting the company's mission, vision, and values are key components of this role.

Responsibilities
• Provide support to all bank operations personnel and customers regarding operational functions.

Requirements
• 1+ year of banking or customer service experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
,
• Strong communication skills, both written and orally.
,
• Effective time management and multi-tasking abilities.
,
• Knowledge of Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) requirements and other banking regulations.

Nice-to-haves
• Experience in account processing or operational functions within a bank.

• Familiarity with compliance and regulatory requirements in banking.
