CDL Dump Truck Driver, Local Deliveries

We are seeking a reliable and experienced CDL Dump Truck Driver to join our team at Buchanan Transportation. This role involves performing local deliveries with a focus on safety, efficiency, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have a valid CDL, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work independently. Responsibilities Operate a dump truck safely and efficiently to transport materials for local deliveries. Load and unload materials as required, ensuring secure and proper handling. Maintain daily vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly. Adhere to all federal, state, and company safety regulations and protocols. Communicate effectively with dispatch and management to ensure timely deliveries. Keep accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and fuel consumption. Requirements Valid Commercial Driver’s License class A (CDL) with a clean driving record, and DOT medical examination certificate Proven experience operating dump trucks in a local delivery setting. Knowledge of safety standards and regulations related to commercial driving. Ability to perform physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials. Excellent time management skills and reliability. Ability to work independently as the position is remote.
