Category Analyst (CPG)

The Category Analyst will provide analytical support for category management projects, generate insights, and ensure the accuracy of data deliverables.ResponsibilitiesProvide analytical support for category management projects and initiatives utilizing various CPG data sources and toolsResponsible for quality control of data sources and ensuring accuracy of deliverables, often requiring engagement with other BI associates and data/tool vendorsBuild, update and refresh weekly and monthly dashboardsParticipate in the development of sales presentations incorporating syndicated and other sources of data that addresses business issuesWork closely with business managers to ensure quality results are deliveredKeep abreast of clients KPI's, strategies, innovation and other important informationSkillsBachelor's Degree preferredUp to one year of related work experienceDemonstrate an intermediate degree of proficiency in Windows and related software applications including Excel and PowerPointAble to understand and apply basic math and CPG principles in the achievement of assigned workEffectively communicate and interact with others and work effectively within a teamKnowledge of Power BI and advanced macros would be a strong assetExperience with syndicated data and/or space management tools would be an assetDemonstrates a drive for results, pursuing assigned tasks with energy and a desire to achieveBenefitsFlexible scheduling optionsCompany OverviewAcosta brings simplicity to retail sales.
