About the Role We are looking for an experienced passionate, committed Registered Nurse to work in the Southland District. You will provide holistic nursing care and support care to a variety of clients in Southland and surrounding areas, ranging from terminal care and post discharge follow-up. This is the perfect opportunity for those of you who have broad experience from a surgical and medical or community setting, and of course you’ll love to work autonomously within the community. This is a casual position on an as and when required basis. About the Team/Service/ Location Health New Zealand - Te Whatu Ora - Southern has the largest geographical coverage of all the New Zealand regions, providing services to 350,000 people in diverse communities. Our ideal candidate will: Have a full, clean drivers licence is essential for this position. Varied nursing experience of 3-5 years including acute clinical, surgical and medical nursing Be registered in accordance with the Health Practitioners Competence Assurance Act 2003 as a Registered Nurse Possess a current Practising Certificate.
