Job Summary:

Job Duties and Responsibilities of Casual Delivery Associate:
• Use UPS vehicles for safe transportation of packages to homes and offices so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Deliver packages while providing exceptional service so as to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Adhere to DOT regulations set by the company as part of their policies and procedures; remain compliant with company appearance standards according to DOT regulations set by the company.
• To lift or move a package weighing up-to 70 lbs., one has to use appropriate handling methods when transporting it without disturbing its safety.
• Work closely with other team members in plaing delivery routes and schedules for maximum productivity.
• Accurate record keeping of shipments is required for timely completion of designated responsibilities.
Qualifications and Experience of Casual Delivery Associate:
• A valid driver’s license that has not been revoked should be provided along with an accident-free driving record.
• Meet all requirements necessary for passing any physical examination conducted by or on behalf of DOT including but not limited lifting heavy objects not exceeding seventy pounds
• Demonstrate strong communication skills through effective interaction with diverse customers while showcasing outstanding customer service abilities gained over time working in different fields such as these ones
• A document verifying high school diploma or GED equivalent must be presented upon request from employer
• Previous experience in package delivery industry can be considered an added advantage although it is not mandatory
