Job Description:
As a Cashier at Walmart, your primary responsibility will be to provide a pleasant and seamless checkout experience for our customers. You are expected to manage transactions with efficiency and accuracy, ensure pricing is correct, resolve customer complaints, guide them on queries, and process exchanges or refunds.
Responsibilities:
– Handle cash, credit, or check transactions with customers
– Scan goods and ensure correct pricing
– Issue change, receipts, refunds, or tickets
– Count money in cash drawers at the beginning and end of shifts
– Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
– Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
– Resolve customer complaints, guide them, and provide relevant information
Requirements:
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Good mathematical skills
– Customer satisfaction-oriented
– Attention to detail and cleanliness
– Ability to stand, walk, lift heavy items for extended periods
Educational Qualifications:
– A high school degree or equivalent is preferred
Experience:
– Previous experience in a retail store or as a cashier would be a bonus, but not mandatory as we provide paid training.
