Cash Applications Specialist Opportunity-Wabash, IN
Location: Wabash, IN
Pay: $16 - $17 per hour
We are seeking a detail-oriented Cash Applications Specialist for a leading company in the Wabash area. In this role, you will be responsible for processing and applying daily cash receipts accurately and efficiently. Your attention to detail and ability to reconcile payments will be essential in ensuring smooth financial operations.
Key Responsibilities:
? Process daily cash receipts from various sources (insurance payors, patients, etc.) in the practice management software.
? Ensure all payments are applied accurately and in a timely manner.
? Monitor and balance daily receipts, adjusting workflow as needed.
? Identify and research receipts that are not related to patient accounts.
? Properly document and assign payer denials and takeback requests.
? Balance and prepare daily reconciliation reports.
? Respond to inquiries from patients and office staff regarding payments.
? Assist with various cash-related requests as needed.
Qualifications:
? High school diploma or equivalent.
? Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
? Experience with Cash App is a plus.
